OtaHub's take
In the story, Gelpiyo and similar characters carry the "Alpha Gel" trait that lets them bounce back from any setback. Alpha Industry sends them to the mysterious Geltown to further the company's world domination plan, but they keep getting pulled into local events. Season 1 aired from 21/1/2026 with 10 episodes, directed by Kazuma Taketani. The season 2 opening theme is performed by SILENT SIREN.
Verdict
It suits viewers who like short comedy with cute characters, easy to fit in between longer shows. You do not need season 1 to follow it, though watching first helps you know the cast. Full season 2 staff has not been announced.
