Fortnite announced the collab on October 3 with the caption “Don't lose hope in the nightmare.”, posted a trailer the same day and put the items in the shop that evening. According to shop data on October 5, prices are:

Items are also sold separately: Devil Wings or any grimoire for 300 V-Bucks, the Demon-Slayer Sword 800, Noelle’s Wand 800, Spirit of Boreas 500 and the Anti-Magic wrap 500. The car also gets an Anti-Magic wheel (700), boost (400) and trail (300).
The game files also include an emote called “Asta's Devil Transformation”, but it is not listed for sale on its own and Epic has not said how to get it. The collab has no combat items or dedicated quests.
Is the bundle worth it?
If you want all three characters, the 3,800 V-Bucks bundle saves 2,100 V-Bucks over buying separately. If you only want one, a single set is enough: the Asta set alone includes both the Devil Wings and the Demon-Slayer Sword, his two signature items. The Nissan GT-R is sold separately and is not in the bundle.
What else is in Fortnitemares 2026?
Fortnitemares 2026 runs from October 1 to November 1. Black Clover is part of a run of collabs in the first week: Five Nights at Freddy's (October 1), Freddy Krueger (October 2), Black Clover (October 3), followed by Halloween Horror Nights, Ghostface and Hollow Knight according to schedules published by game news sites. The Fortnitemares cinematic trailer released on September 29 already showed a brief glimpse of Asta in devil form.
Black Clover joins the list of anime that have come to Fortnite, alongside Naruto, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Punch Man, Bleach and Dragon Ball.
Black Clover season 2 just premiered
The timing is no accident: Black Clover season 2 premiered on October 3 on TV Tokyo and streams internationally on Crunchyroll. Studio Pierrot produces, Ayataka Tanemura directs, the opening is “Kienai Riyū” by WANIMA and the ending is “Yellow Brick Road” by ONE OR EIGHT. Season 1 ended in 2021 after 170 episodes.
On the manga side, Yūki Tabata’s series ended in May 2026 after 11 years, followed by final volume 38 and a guidebook released in Japan on August 4.

This is a well-timed collab: the TV anime has just returned after more than five years, the manga has just ended, and Fortnite drops the skins in week one. The upside is that Epic got Asta right, with the devil wings, the Devil Union style and the transforming sword. The downside is that there are no quests or magic weapons to play with, so this is purely a skin drop.
For Black Clover fans, the 2,000 V-Bucks Asta set is the one to get. Just remember the items are only in the shop for about ten days, until October 13 unless Epic changes the rotation.
