The Goddess Squad, whose history reaches back to humanity’s early war in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, is getting a manga adaptation. Announced during the game’s fourth-anniversary celebrations, the series is planned to begin this coming winter in KADOKAWA’s monthly Dengeki Maoh magazine.
Yokoshima Penguin will draw the manga under SHIFT UP’s supervision. The artist has previously contributed comics to NIKKE’s official social media channels, and the new project will explore the game’s world through an ongoing series.
Who are the Goddess Squad?
In NIKKE’s world, humanity lost the surface to the Raptures and retreated to the underground Ark. Nikkes are humanlike warriors created to fight these enemies and reclaim the surface.
Goddess was the first Nikke squad in human history and stood at the forefront of Operation Ark Guardian about a century ago. The squad became a symbol of victory during a period when humanity was losing control of the surface. Centering the manga on Goddess therefore places an important part of NIKKE’s past at the heart of the story.

An ongoing manga in Dengeki Maoh
Dengeki Maoh is KADOKAWA’s monthly manga magazine. The new project is billed as the first full ongoing official manga adaptation focused on the Goddess Squad’s story.
The announcement currently sets a winter publication window without a specific date for the first chapter. For readers who follow NIKKE’s story, the appeal is a dedicated manga about its early generation of warriors, alongside the stories already told in the game.
