The One Piece is a remake of the One Piece anime by WIT Studio for Netflix, revealed at Jump Festa 2024. Netflix released the first teaser on June 24, 2026.

- Content: adapts about the first 50 manga chapters, from the East Blue arc through the Baratie arc

A “reboot,” not a replacement
WIT Studio president George Wada said in August 2026 that the project is a reboot based on the manga, separate from Toei’s series running since 1999 (which continues) and from Netflix’s live-action show. The stated goal is a tighter retelling with almost no filler.
Articles describing the first teaser or trailer as April 2026 or August–September 2026 news are incorrect: the teaser appeared on June 24, 2026.
