Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man Part 2 ended with chapter 232 in March 2026. The finale was published through Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ service in Japan and released in English through official Shonen Jump platforms, closing the second major portion of Denji's story.
The chapter appeared on March 24 in some international time zones and March 25 in Japan. That difference explains why official and licensed listings sometimes show adjacent dates for the same simultaneous release.

Chainsaw Man publication timeline
- Part 1: chapters 1–97, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2018 to 2020.
- Part 2: chapters 98–232, published digitally on Shonen Jump+ from July 2022 to March 2026.
- Part 2 length: 135 chapters.
- Part 3: no official serialization announcement at the time of this update.
Moving to Shonen Jump+ gave Fujimoto a more flexible digital schedule than the weekly print magazine used for Part 1. Part 2 introduced a new school setting and shifted substantial attention toward Asa Mitaka while continuing Denji's life after the Public Safety arc.
Did the entire Chainsaw Man manga end?
Chapter 232 is explicitly the end of Part 2. It should not automatically be interpreted as confirmation that the franchise can never receive a Part 3. Shueisha and Fujimoto had not announced another manga part when this article was updated.
The safest description is therefore that Chainsaw Man Part 2 has concluded. Claims about a sequel, new serialization date or permanent ending require a separate official announcement.
Why the old chapter 180 framing was misleading
An earlier version of this page treated chapter 180 and the Death Devil as if they represented a current turning point. Chapter 180 was only one installment within a much longer storyline; Part 2 continued for another 52 chapters before ending at chapter 232.
The page has been rewritten around the completed publication record rather than speculation attached to an older chapter. This avoids presenting outdated theories as current news and lets readers understand where both manga parts begin and end.
How to read the official English release
English chapters are distributed through Shueisha's MANGA Plus service and Viz Media's Shonen Jump platform in supported regions. Availability, free chapter access and subscription requirements vary, so readers should check the licensed service rather than unofficial scan sites.
The Japanese chapter page remains available on Shonen Jump+, including the chapter number and publication date. Collected English volumes are released separately and do not necessarily appear on the same schedule as the digital chapters.
What about the anime?
The manga's conclusion and the anime production schedule are separate. MAPPA's animated adaptation had not covered Part 2 when the manga ended. Viewers should use official anime channels for confirmed films, television seasons and release dates rather than assuming the manga finale will be animated immediately.
