REMATCH is turning its football competition into a Blue Lock-style test of individual skill. Sloclap's official crossover runs from September 24 to October 23, 2026 as the centerpiece of Season 5, with a limited-time mode, free rewards and premium cosmetic bundles based on four of the anime's best-known strikers.
Aura Striker changes the flow of a match
The event's main gameplay addition is Aura Striker, a limited-time three-versus-three mode. Every player builds an Aura gauge over time and can accelerate it by making interceptions. Activating Aura temporarily increases movement speed and shot power, removes the normal stamina limit and enables automatic goalkeeping. The result is a faster format that rewards players for choosing the right moment to unleash their boost.
Because everyone can activate Aura, the mode is not simply about overpowering the opposing team. Timing, possession and positioning still matter: spending the boost too early can leave a team without the same advantage during a decisive attack. Progress made in Aura Striker also contributes to the event's challenges.
Free rewards and four premium bundles
All players can claim an Ego Boost Bundle containing profile and character cosmetics. A separate free Event Pass advances through challenges completed in Aura Striker, Casual and Ranked matches. Its rewards include profile cosmetics, a Blue Lock ball and a virtual-reality arena inspired by the series.
The four featured Blue Lock stars - Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Seishiro Nagi and Rin Itoshi: arrive as premium cosmetic bundles. Each bundle contains a character skin, celebration and player card, while an all-in-one option groups the four together. They are not separate heroes with exclusive statistics or abilities; REMATCH keeps its competitive play centered on the same shared football mechanics.
Season 5 also updates the base game
The collaboration arrives alongside broader gameplay changes, including goalkeeper-dive adjustments, volley cancels, stamina revisions and changes to tackle interactions. Sloclap is also offering a Blue Lock Edition for new players and a Training Pack for existing owners. Availability and storefront pricing may vary by platform and region.
